Most of the work is consulting projects, retained advisory, board seats, and government or multilateral programmes, engagements that are scoped and billed on their own terms rather than booked off a price list. Built from one base unit: a $1,000 hourly rate for ad-hoc access (Strategy Call is half an hour, Advisory Session is the full hour). The Half-Day Sprint bundles four hours plus a scoping call and written outputs at $4,000 full rate, offered at $3,500 as a standing discount on booked project work. Defined-scope work: architecture reviews, strategy design, ecosystem diagnostics, product or policy build-outs.
Billed: day rate from $1,500/day, or a fixed project fee built from that rate, set out in a written proposal after scoping.
Ongoing counsel for founders, executive teams, or ministries, on call across a running set of decisions rather than one session.
Billed: monthly retainer from $6,000/month (a four-day-equivalent floor at the $1,500 day rate), invoiced in advance.
Fintech and digital infrastructure board seats, advisory board membership, governance design.
Billed: individually negotiated, cash, equity, or a hybrid, under a separate board agreement.
National strategy design, policy architecture, and programme delivery, usually via a competitive RFP or tender process.
Billed: per the contracting authority's procurement terms, under a formal consultancy agreement.
Keynotes, panels, and moderated sessions on digital payments architecture, national AI and digital policy, and innovation ecosystems.
Billed: fee varies by event, format, and travel.
